As Token already played his very own experimental, dubtechy electronica productions on our first small orbit event @ Lauschangriff and we wanted to have him joining for the festival-like event in April 2019, things came together in a very convenient way:
He asked in a cautious way, if it ‘maybe would be possible’ to play a DnB-set this time, and if ‘maybe’ this could be happening on the main floor, meaning on the “Function One” sound system of the location.
Event though we did not actually plan to book a ‘DnB-artist’, we liked the idea. After a short recheck on our overall booking and concept for the timetable, it was clear that the idea fitted perfectly to make the transition between deep and heavy dubstep/bass music and straight techno-ish sounds. People loved it!
