In collaboration with Mancha Negra Lab , you’re welcome to come early, see Meta_morffosis’ impressive psychedelic art work and choose your favourite logo of the day to print your hoody, shirt or get a piece out of the freshest merch!
Dynamic patterns, nature’s craziest forms and special printing techniques to experiment with are the artist’s signature. Shifting somewhere between free tekno black and white aesthetics and early 20th century biologist drawings and lithography, the exhibition invites the spectator to look at the mundane from a shifted perspective.

Along with that we’ll listen to a so-to-say live performance of Algerian Berlin based Noise/Drone/Dub producer Abu Ama. Using a combination of sound patterns, loops, tracks and darbuka samples the artist takes the indefinite moment of what happens now and twists it into a possible ground field for what’s going to come up next using pre-recorded, self-produced and sampled data. With his lo-fi experimental sounds, Abu Ama gets the audience on a trip through the darker shades of dub and ambient scapes.

Talking about dub and the roots of sound system related music, we are happy to have Rebel Vibes Selektor Bony from Mexico on board. As a long-term friend, promoter and supporter we are looking forward to having Bony as a representative DJ for reggae related bass sounds spiced up with a pinch of more tropical vibes. Just the right sounds to fill our souls with warm bass lines and organic sounds before the cold times of the year approach.

To round it all up and get the tekno family on board, we are honored to have Shannon Soundquist playing for us. We are looking forward what Shannon will surprise us with. Knowing her as a sound artist, performer and audio dramaturgist, we’ll curiously await what her approach to Mental Tekno is and listen to a multifaceted sound spectrum that gets you into an altered state of listening and dancing.

As Sound System Culture: On the Radical Roots of Rave suggests, we don’t please anyone’s expectations but serve all the styles.

Please be aware that Covid-regulations still apply, come tested or with a proof of your vaccination/recovering, as well as you shouldn’t forget your mask for the more narrow situations in/under the tents, at the bar and in the queues.
